How to place a totepool bet
totesport.com offers a full range of totepool bets. To place a totepool bet you must first select the race in which you would like to bet. This can be done in 4 ways:
- by selecting totepool from the left navigation bar and select the required meeting and/or totepool bet from the options available.
- by using the drop-down boxes in the centre of the totesport.com homepage to choose your required totepool bet & associated race time.
- by using the text links contained within the central panel of the totesport.com homepage to link directly to the relevant racecard at which point totepool bets can be chosen by using the link at the top of the racecard.
- by clicking on any totepool promotional images throughout the site such as banners or text links. These will take you straight through to the relevant totepool bet.
Once in the relevant totepool racecard simply make your selections and choose your stake. To do this use the tick boxes in the columns next to the horse name(s)/number(s) you require. On totepool racecards you will see the win guide / place guide displayed, please note this price cannot be taken and is for guidance only. You will also see the starting price displayed (when available) this is for comparison purposes only. Once happy with your selection(s) simply enter your unit stake into the box at the bottom of the totepool racecard and your total stake will automatically be calculated based upon your unit stake and number of combinations (lines).
Once happy with your selections, unit stake & total stake, just press the bet now button at the bottom right of the totepool racecard. Once this process has been completed a receipt will replace the bet slip confirming the details of the bet.
